Cycle 4 Sewa (C4S) 2023 - Our Journey Thus Far...

A group of approximately 15 young enthusiasts from the Hanuman Shakha have come together to participate in C4S 2023. In their quest for adventure, they embarked on exploratory cycling journeys through picturesque countryside by visits to Henley, Oxford, and the surroundings of Reading. Some of our dedicated swayamseveks even managed to pedal over 40 miles in a single day, facing challenges like broken bicycles and punctures (thankfully, no broken bones).

Undeterred by these setbacks, our determined youngsters have collectively covered an impressive distance of around 1200 miles as of 1st September 2023.

But our story doesn't conclude here. As a united team, we aspire to push our limits further and contribute to Sewa UK by undertaking a monumental challenge - cycling a total of 2,000 miles, symbolising the journey from Jammu Kashmir to Kanyakumari. To accomplish the final 800 miles in the coming days, we need your support!

On Sunday 3rd September, we invite all cyclist to be part of our journey and help us complete a significant leg of our bicycle adventure, from Reading to Abingdon and back along the scenic River Thames, covering a distance of 40 miles.

Your generous contributions will directly contribute to ongoing Sewa UK projects that are making a positive impact in various communities.

For those who have not registered for C4S, you can also take part in either the walk or cycle. Our recommended donation is £2 per person or £5 per family.
