Yorkshire3Peaks 2022

On 1st May 2022 we embarked on our 16th annual event.
Report

Total participated on the day: 377.
Three Peaks: 94
Two Peaks: 97
One Peak: 175
Volunteers: 11

Many volunteered before and after the walk. Walking guides and marshals included in the walks number. So many positive comments received from participants.

Funds raised for SEWA UK total £9063, including gift aid tax.
Many raised funds by sending the CTA fundraising link to friends and work colleagues. The response was fantastic. Few also created their own page.
Down side was that many did not claim gift aid tax relief.
WEATHER – Nice walking weather. Many first timers. Excellent.

Trek  Details

A rough guide to our event which we hold each year. The below is essential reading, including our disclaimer.

On Sunday 1st May 2022 (May bank holiday weekend), we will be embarking on our 16th annual Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.

ONLINE REGISTRATION NOW CLOSED – Please register any further participants in-person at the starting point at Horton in Ribblesdale.

This sponsored walk/trek covers 24.5 miles and goes across Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough; a total climb of 5,000ft. There is a choice of walk(s) for all – choose to do 1,2 or all 3 peaks.

For participants travelling from far, you need to make your own accommodation arrangements. We would encourage car sharing to reduce emissions.
