Our current projects

A team comprising of members from all walks of life and professions, were planned to commence a School at Gadag for Special Children. The children have various kinds of disabilities – Mental Disability, Cerebral Palsy, Autism and Multiple disabilities etc.

Accordingly the Arunodaya Special School has commenced its activities in a rented building, in the year 2007, with the help of society. Initially there were only 26 students in the school. Gradually the numbers of students increased.

Presently, in our institute we are providing training to 48 students, but demand for places is great and currently we have over 150 parents with special needs children on our waiting list.

The continued effort of the Management Committee at Gadag, the local Municipal Authority has allotted a plot of land (18000 Square feet) in the middle of the town for construction of School and training Centre for these children.

Sewa UK will support to the building of this much needed new facility at a cost of building over £250,000

To support education and rehabilitation of the affected in Nepal, Sewa International will:

• Distribute School Kits to Children

• Construct Residential Student Hostels

• Build Community Centers

• Build Schools (residential or day-schools)
